I have a curious question, not a big deal but has been bothering me a bit. Why is it that some boxes of cigars have warning labels, and others don't. I think everything from the Dominican does, but when I got my boxes of 5 Vegas today it had no warning which again pestered me about the reason. Puros Indios from the Honduras also never has warning labels. I may be wrong, but I thought it was a law to have these pathetic labels, which sometimes I have even resorted to scratching them off the box, when I am in certain moods. (someday I will give some to my daughter to keep her crap in and what not, and the last thing I need is to see these propaganda labels and have her get on my case, though I will simply tell her it is only in California that these labels apply)

I can not answer as to why some do and some do not, but by law should be labeled. There was a piece on the 6 o'clock "news" about this very issue. There is some little smoke being imported into the USA from India(I think), and a majority have not had labels on them. From my understanding every tobacco product in the USA is to be labeled.

I think it is a States issue. I know for sure that in the Peoples Rebublic of California it is a law, but I don't think it is a Federal law. Have you ever seen the warning label on Lars Tetens? It says "Smoke this and Die!". At least he has a sense of humor about it.

I also received my box of 5 Vegas yesterday. Check your box, seems they don't know how to spell very well: "Doble Corona" Maybe they should put spelling warnings on the box...
