Hiyo, I have a bunch of exploded cigars that need new wrappers. They were expensive, and I don't want to toss them. Does anyone know where to get aged wrapper tobacco? I know how to put the wrappers on already.
thanks, bill

LMFAO!...THIS is a new one..LOL...Much better than the usual overbidding rants..Smoke thiem without the wrappers...I had to do that the other day to a Quintero Breva that had the wrapper unravel as soon as I cut the head...Sucks but still smokable

Job 1:5, Are we talking about burning the cigars and sending the smoke up to the LORD. That is a good idea except God has way better cigars than we could imagine.

Smoke them without the wrappers or toss them (and let that be a lesson to you for letting them "explode" in the first place! ;) because you'll never get the intended taste of the cigar by putting another wrapper on it. Either way, you're f'd. I've smoked maybe 2 cigars without wrappers in my life and they didn't taste like the cigar they were supposed to be. In short, they're a lost cause.

If you are dead set on tryin to apply new wrappers, run a search on the internet for "roll your own cigars". You will be given a number of choices, a couple of which offer bulk wrapper, binder and filler in one half or one pound quantities. Never tried them but that is the only source for wrapper that I know of. I belive most of the tobacco is Indonesian but I may be wrong. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Bill, any idea on what made them "explode"? Pretty expensive cigars to be shedding their skin even with a little mistreatment, IMO.
