Is it usual to receive wet cigars? Or perhaps it is just that the "economy" smokes have been aged all of a week at the factory. It occurs to me that they might ship better this way. I imagine after a sojourn in the humidor they will be ok. I can't smoke 'em now though that's for sure. I recieved a Thomas Hinds 5 pack a couple weeks ago. They looked promising (very nice wrappers) but have yet to attain smokeability.

I "won" 2 different boxes of The Cigar by Perdomo that were a bit to moist to smoke and had to let set for a couple of weeks before I could smoke them.

just put them in your micro for 4 to 8 minutes and they will be dry. put them on a paper towel to absorb the moisture.

I usually pick out my cigars for the day and keep them in an opened plastic baggie to dry out a bit. By the time I'm ready to smoke, they are dry enough!

BBJ, like Rick says DO NOT micro them. I had a box of damp Fuente Hemingways that I tried to dry out after seeing Ricks first post. They are now on the trades BB under "pipe smokers special".

I like the idea of taking out your smokes ahead of time. However, I cant decide what I feel like smoking until about 10 seconds before I light up, so it doesnt work for me. I am the worst, when I go on a trip, I bring about 10 cigars with so I will have a choice of which one I feel like smoking, but instead end up picking up something new at a smokeshop and having that instead.
