I would like any thought on Carbonell Cigars, that even means you Char535.
I got in a 5-pak I was quite pleased with the taste and the smoothness of them.

I have found Carbonells to be extremely mild and one dimensional. They have a sweetened cap somewhat similar to the Baccarat. For the guy who likes a fuller bodied, more powerful cigar, Carbonell is not a favorable selection.

Hmmmmm Carbonell..... Oh yes. I did get a 5 pack once. I think I gave the rest to my neighbor. From what I remember, I would have rather had the money spent, go to illegal, crack addicted, militant aliens instead. IMHO.

If you like mild cigars with a sweet cap, try them. Personally, I can't stand the sweet cap and can't get past it, so I hate Carbonell, Bacarat, Nation Brand etc.

It's a much better chewing cigar than smoking cigar...unless you like mild cigars. I suppose it would make a good morning cigar. BTW...Omaha huh? As in "Omaha, The Wild Kingdom?"

Timinator, "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom"? Showing your age here! I loved the way Marlan Perkins would narrate how dangerous the animal was while poor Jim dove into the river and wrestled the gator/snake/shark to shore........Er, at least that is the way my grandfather told it to me.

I agree with Bud. Got a 5 pack a long time ago. Just could not do it.

Marlin was the smartest man in the universe! He probably stayed away from lighting a Carbonell as well!

The Carbonell 1909's are unsweetened. But the are very green and heavy on the ammonia flavor. I choked on the first one and let the other 4 rest. After 2 monthes the ammonia was gone but not the terrible taste. But then that's just my opininon. Todd
