In effort to improve CigarBid's service for our weekly shippers, we're making a small modification to the weekly shipping schedule.

Starting next week (week of Mar. 4), we are moving our weekly shipping schedule to include lots closed Thursday night (of previous week) through Wednesday night (of current week.) At present, our weekly shippers receive lots closing Friday through Thursday. Weekly invoices will then be generated and emailed on Thursday morning instead of Friday morning.

Please voice any thoughts or concerns you might have as a result of this change. Thanks.

As long as they are shipped, the day doesn't matter. But I would like to see next day hand delivery, if possible. I am an impatient sort.

What kind of lots are you talking about, like parking lots etc., and why is cbid selling parking lots?

Gee I hate change. I just got started weekly and now you guys are changing it up. I don't know if I can keep this straight. I just figured out Auto-bid. Well, I'm with Rick and the others who see it as an improvement. They' helped me work out the weekly stuff and they think this is a good idea. Sure makes me feel dumb.

Why not ship on Monday. That way we can all bid over the weekend and we will get our cigars by the following weekend. And they would not have to sit in a truck over the weekend.

mine get here the next day, sat or not, so i dont really care one way or another, although i feel like i shouldnt have to pay as much as someone in california for the same stuff when i live 45 minutes away from Bethlehem.

Good points by all. Thanks for the feedback. We strive for accurate, timely and prompt delivery of all packages. We don't process weekly shippers on Monday b/c lots accumulate over the weekend for our daily shippers as well. Monday is an incredibly heavy day for our Dailies. Adding weeklies to the mix could be disastrous.

We'll begin Thursday shipments next week (Mar. 7) and if anyone has further concerns, drop me an email at [email protected].

If the order goes via UPS, it means one more day in transit to my delivery area. If it goes USPS, I get it a day sooner.
