Just got caught up in a windstorm of last minute bidding. It was on Yellow Label DR Cohiba Torpedos box of 25. Bidding went from about $47 to $67 all after the specified close of the auction. I ended up getting a box, but man I didn't want to go any higher. Kind of got caught up in the moment and didn't want to loose.

So did I get a good deal? Or am I an overbidder? I know should have researched better, checked things out etc. But I wanted those cigars man!

Do I need CBA (Cigar Bider Anonymous).

By the way I thank those who stopped bidding.

Later,
BC from Sacramento

I don't know this particular cigar. But with the name Cohiba, at about $2.50 a stick, you must be doing ok. I would be interested in how you like them.

$67 for a box of Cohibas sounds like a reasonable price....$47 would have been outstanding!!!

To me the yellow dots are consistently overbid on. Stick to your bid and don't get caught in that last minute stuff. (been there, done that) As Rickamaven state another bunch will come along.

The yellow band Cohibas are no longer in production because of copy right infringements and are selling for two or three times less than their red dot brother. At $67.00 you paid the retail price for the torpedos.

Y&F, if you can store those yellow band cohibas properly for about 6 months, you'll have gotten your money's worth. Ron

My local tobacconist sells them for $16 each ... can you believe that? They're not that bad (or that good), and I won't buy them again, as my tastes have changed. I got three boxes about a year or so ago, and I still have about 10 left. And, that was after trading a box to Timinator a long time ago ... most I gave or traded away!
