I just had to make this post to boast what a great company Cigars International and Cigar Bid really is ...

I recently won a bid for a box of Arturo Fuente Curly Head Deluxe (box of 25), for a little under MSRP. Nothing unusual about that, you say?

Well, they must have ran out of stock (not listed at CI as of this moment), because they sent me a substitution ... a box of 40 Curly Head's. Same cigar, but without the band.

This place never seizes to amaze me with their outstanding customer service and tireless effort to make things right. That gesture made a decent win an outstanding bargain!

Thanks again, to the staff of your stellar company!

I have very few issues that needed to be addressed. But when I did, they were fast, courteous, and accomodating.

If you're pleased, it's all that matters. But I don't think that substitutions made without the customer's agreement is good customer service, and I don't think that Curly Heads are the same cigar as the Deluxe.

I guess you don't realize that what they did, was give me an extra 15 of the exact same cigar I bid on.

I asked that question at the Fuente/Newman site before I posted here, and it is indeed that exact same cigar, minus the band.

The Curly Head Deluxe comes with a band, and in a box of 25 ... that is the only difference.

Any time a company makes a substitution with something of 'equal or greater value', is fine by me. That's done quite a bit (most even state that) with mail order companies. I'm sure that if CI/CB thought that they were getting too far 'off track', they would have let me know ...

Ah Ha! The final proof that you are, using your definition of the word, a foreigner. Shouldn't it be "adolescent" bickering?? More importantly, who gives a **** about your perversions. Just messing with you.
