Ok, Baseball kicks off next week and it is time to forget the "other" sports and dwell on baseball! Who likes what teams in what divisions and let's get something going here! AL East-great division, pick here is the Yankees! AL Central- Twins. AL West Longshot, pick, California Angels! NL West San Francisco Giants, NL Central StL Cards, NL East NY Mets. World Series to the Cardinals against the Yankees with Cardinals winnning it all!

"meanie" I love the Astros, just not sure if they can beat the Cardinals this season! Berkman, Biggio, and of course the great Bagwell! If Hidalgo can come close to 2000 season and Daryl Ward can hit playing everyday.........they will win it! And possibly go all the way,but I am skeptical about the two ifs! Having been born in Houston area, Wharton, TX, I have long been as Astro fan and my father was a scout for the original Colt 45's and Astros! Love to see Houston in World Series! Charlie

The Phillies will win the World Series if all these conditions are met: 1. Curt ( give me all the money I want and I will finish my career in Philadelphia - they did - he didn't) Schilling, comes back and plays the next five years for free to make up for being the big p***k that he is. 2. Larry Bowa gives a press conference without looking like he will burst out in tears at any minute. 3. Dallas green becomes second base coach. 4.The owners actually spend money to acquire Players who can actually play professional baseball. And finally 5. All the other teams forfeit all their games to the Phillies including playoff games.

Wait...don't forget the Reds. They will be forgotten inside a month, so for now don't forget the Reds.
20 yrs ago hope sprang eternal in April. Now...every year 20 teams are done before the first pitch.
