about a week ago i responded to a post about having more cigars than humidors and i mentioned
using a sweater box. like most of you, toby and sheba, i don't pay attention to my own dribble and
pontification. if i did i would go nuts. however, the sweater box cos about $10. at target or k mart
or some place like that. i was in there buying my dress wardrob and noticed the box and bought
it. it's 6 1/2 high, and 10 1/2 by 15, clear, with a fairly snug lid. i threw in a bunch of cheap cigars
that cbid has the deceny not to sell, and a soap dish humidifier. it's a week later and it is working
like a champ. surprised myself with my own brilliance

jjohnson28: glad you asked. 1958 and 1959 i worked for rocketdyne in santa susana, in a control booth, monitering tests of the atlas rocket engines to be delivered and used for the mercury program. a small part, of course, but a part of the many. i will post a picture of the early atlas engine.

Here in Houston we have an annual crazy car contest that attracts anyone with strange ideas, especially from the artist community. The event culminates in a parade and, in some cases, a sales transaction. So far, funny fur is a popular add-on around windows. I wonder what a crazy humidor contest would attract?

I watch but never post, I find this thread interesting though, I've been running two of these 'kmartadors' for over a year now, simply for the items that I still often wonder what possessed me to bid on them in the first place..... and still can not understand why I still have them

(This wont be as profound as my immediately preceding post.) One man's poison, Southside. Tell us what you have in those K-matadors. Now that they are 2 years old maybe we all want a handful.

eleltea: in answer to your second post. are you having intermittent short and long term memory loss? the k-matadors, as you so nicely named my sweater box, have a couple of hundred cigars that were placed there about a week ago. the ones i have for about two years fermenting in acid leaves are leyendos, i think i spelt it right, it's hard to read bands that were not printed but are the other side of bands from different cigars, scotch taped on and the name leyendo written in crayon. i believe i was waiting for an email to tell me what music interested you in addition to willie. since i also have what ever that mental problem is that we both have, i already forgot whether i sent anything to you. if you get a willie next week, let me know. if not let me know. do you all like the way i spelled spelled?

Rick ... don't let him get to you. It's jst his typical M.O. ... he comes in, makes a derogatory statement at somebody, ten leaves.

He probably never even returns to see the reaction ...

When Willie arrives or if I will give you a shrei. I just smoked a El Rico Habano a bud gave me at the Cincinnati airport. About knocked my on my a55. Kinda good, well constructed. good ash, good burn, lotta smoke, a bargain for you guys that like to be knocked on your a55es. I only can handle that kind every couple days. The price is right on them Well, I dont mean free (it wasnt because I gave him some good gars too) but the price available here and there. I think the nicotine has poisoned my brain since I cant stop typing, but I will.

Regarding your bad splelling spell, Mark Twain, while puffing on a cheroot, once wrote something to the effect "I never trust a man who doesn't know more than one way to spell a word."

SouthSide: i dip the cigar in lighter fluid and the scotch tape comes off. you can use acetone if you don't have lighter fluid.
