I might be starting this subject early but what the hell. I just got done paying for my season tickets to U of O duck football. I dont actually get them until late July or early August, but the University of Oregon feels that it's important to hold on to my money for several months. They are expanding the stadium this year and adding 12,000 seats. Average attendance last year was about41,000. They have created areas for donors where you get to pay the construction costs of your seat. You pay up to $4000.00 per seat depending on field position, which does not include the price of your ticket. (financing is available) This will be the ritzy area where the "golf clap" will be the norm. This in what is considered the loudest stadium in college athletics. When you buy your season tickets ($260.00 each for reserved seating) you get to make a request for seat location. The flip side of this is that it really doesnt matter for the most part. If you arent donating to the "Duck athletic fund" "collegiate fund" and a few of the others, you will probably end up in the end zone next to the visiting teams band. They require that you make donations of at least $200.00 each to a minimum of three U.O. athletic funds ($600.00 or more) before you are even eligible to attempt to get bowl game tickets. The said part? It wasnt so long ago that they went to their first bowl game in 17 years.

I've wanted to attend the Civil War game since my daughter was a U of O freshman, and since she is graduating this year (a year early), we plan on making it a "for sure" next season. With the Chargers going into the tank, it's been great following the Ducks. Go Ducks!

I've got two nice Imperiales that say the BRUINS will eat the Ducks for lunch this year.
