I would rather have a cigar at a bar with George W. Bush than with Tom Daschle. Bill Clinton would be more fun for a drink and cigar than Tom Dulay. It isn't that I don't like pols named Tom, either. Most of us have friends we don't agree with politically. How can you explain Oren Hatch and Ted Kennedy, who are best friends? Mary Matalin and her husband, Snakehead? Most politicians bore or disgust me, but I always liked listening to both Daniel Patrick Moynahan and Newt Gingrich. They couldn't be much farther apart politically, but both always have something intelligent and interesting to say, and they both have style, JMO. Who do you like that you shouldn't, given your political bent?

Double dittos on Rick, and I would love to have a cigar and beer with Bubba Clinton! Rick, pick yourself up off the floor. Clinton is a guy's guy, although I do not agree with him politically, I would like to smoke a cigar with him! I am sure all you liberal democrats are shaking your heads about now! Charlie

I'd love to have a cigar and a beer with Bubba also and use his extensive pipeline to meet some sleezy women and to make some investments with quick returns that so benefitted him and his beautiful wife!

Yeah,ya know what? I'd have to agree, while he's probably the slimiest Prez we've ever had.Deep down he's probably pretty laid back and fun to party with. He'd have to be,I mean with that hilariously Hillbilly Gafaw laugh of his,you know like when he was yuckin it up with Yeltsin on the steps at the White House?

I would like to shoot the breeze with El Rushbo. I would also like to try a partagas from his humidor. The guy often begs the question but he is well informed and has a great sense of humor.
