The construction varies from decent to awful. The taste is a mild yet young even though the cellophane is brown. You can smoke it half way without getting too harsh. Found a few twigs in some of them. The burn is usually uneven. It's not as bad as it sounds. (I picked up a bundle locally for $11. As you guys put it, 'good for yardwork'. p.s. unklebill--that post was funny as hell!

I usually give these sticks to those who I don't really care for.

You're right Peter, the Rum Runners are a nice change of pace and not that bad at all. Wouldn't smoke them day after day, but they're certainly decent enough. And at such a low price they're well worth it.

Peter you are da man. i agree with that hundert percent, a handful of guys at my office really eat these suckers up and it keeps them from taking my good ones.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes these crappy looking cigars. I have them typically in the morning if in the mood for a stog. I taste blueberries??? I'm embarrased to even admit liking these smokes but they do offer a different pace don't they?
