I like the Serie V much better than the Melanio. I was one and done with the Melanio, but at one point I had around 50 Serie V's in my humidor--about 5 years ago. I think I'm down to around half a box now. Still a favorite of mine.

I use 68% bovedas, and the first 2/3 of the stick smokes fine. Different brands, different sizes, all seem to struggle in the last 1/3 lately. Maybe I am slowing down the puffing.

Your Bovedas are, most likely, 69%. I’ve never seen a 68% pack anywhere. Regardless, your RH may be too high. I would take it down a step to 65% and see how it works for you. IIRC, the rule of thumb is one week for every 1% of RH you’re trying to change to. So simple math is 4 weeks at 65%. Iffin’ you still have issues, try 62%. Additionally, I would do it on a smaller sampling of cigars rather than going all out and buying a whole bunch of the 65% packs, just in case you need to go lower.
