It's been sitting at the bottom of one of my tubs along with a few other "early acquisition" friends, so I pulled it out to smoke it and it was actually quite nice. Nothing spectacular, but a very pleasant smoke after a few years time. I am mildly happy that I have four more of them with as much time on them.

The regular Antanos lost too much of their strength (for my liking) after too long a nap, but these rare corojos are holding on well.

I have also found the regular JdNs lose strength pretty quickly. Maybe they're just one of those cigars that are better smoked ROTT. You sent me a Dark Antañio one time, and it was rather tasty.

Agreed, Lee, the regular Antanos were a goto of mine for a while, ROTT. If I held on to them too long, though, they lost a lot of their flavor.

Lee I like the Trinidad’s. Not sure which Brazilian wrapper they have have on them just that it’s a Brazil wrapper

My favorite Brazilian smoke is the blackbird unkind then Herrera esteli then the Trinidad. I got a steal of a deal on the Trinidad and pretty happy with the purchase.

So the private keep are ready to smoke? Cool ima burn one this weekend.

I liked the first two I smoked last year and hoping the additional rest is beneficial.

Edit: the extra rest made it a little smoother. Quite enjoyable.

75349 -- Aladino Corojo Reserva, this box is not as good as the ones Palama sent and the few I bought a couple years ago which inspired a box purchase last year...was hoping the year of rest would be more beneficial...

OTOH, my palate may have changed as I've aged...seems many cigars aren't as good as they used to be...maybe I need to take a break every now and then to let the taste buds reset

It was the second from that box. Smoked one a few weeks after the box arrived early last year, and thought a year would improve them to the level I had come to enjoy...alas...

maybe a little more aging...
