Another one year revisit...
32881 Montecristo Media Noche. Didn't much care for it when I first got into cigars. Brother in law (kinda plays along with me in cigar land, but says he prefers "real tobacco" in cigarettes) declared them the best cigar he's ever had. So, I bought a fiver and gave him 4.
At a year, its pretty much as I remembered. I'm thinking I haven't had a change in the way I taste a cigar as my experience progresses, but rather my appreciation of certain characteristics over the ability to identify them.
Time has helped though. Young Maduros to me have a chemical/chlorine note that is absolutely repulsive. I remember noting that on this cigar. Its subsided to a pepper blast on retrohale that slowly subsides to a butter/oil. Predominantly pepper though. Not my favorite flavor...
Ive got two more 1st year noob revisit reviews to go. So far I've not changed my mind on any of em, but ive learned a lot.
