Yesterday:

48742- Kristoff Corojo Limitada 5.5x54

Really enjoyed this cigar. This was from the sampler of 8 I bought last March. The Maduro Ligero was just ok to me but I liked this one. Read some bad reviews on this cigar, so I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. Not sure how they are rott or after two weeks but can say that it's a good cigar at the year mark.

Last week a won an Oliva 20 cigar sampler for under $2 ea. Haven't had these in several years. Today I smoked one of each.

48753- Oliva Connecticut Reserve - very nice, excellent construction. Excellent Connie.
48754 - Oliva "G" - Harsh for a Cameroon. Loosely rolled. Short burn.
48754 - Oliva "O" - Top end construction, nice flavor, great burn.
48755 - Oliva Saison - 2009 Crop. Another well made, slow burning cigar with great flavors.

Even though I sent a PM on this, just to let everyone else know...I think it took about 2 hours. It still had some smoking left in it when I tossed it, but my mouth was already fried. Didn't have another cigar that night.

48766 - DE LP #9 - mmmmm
48767 - Illusione HL - started out smooth but one dimensional, but as I hit the last third it turned into a spice bomb. Tasted like there was a Ghost pepper in the end of it. Holy burn! Loved it!

They are one of my favorites as well. I think they're good before and after they have mellowed. I have a box of Robustos that I'm not going to open until they hit the two year mark...
