Thanks to DBIII. Man, that Colorado crew, Cacman, DBIII, and Youngra, were a great trio of BOTLs. Wonder how they’re all doing?

I'm still enjoying. What is the difference between this one and the blue one?

I'm probably not the best to answer as I've only had a couple of the blue quite a while ago, but IIRC there's a touch less spice on the front end and a little more sweetness to it throughout

The black is a pepper bomb, coffee and wet leather...…..in your face full/full from beginning to end.

The blue is much more complex...….lots of leather, little cocoa here and there and a little citrus on the back end.Still my favorite DPG offering.Back in the day I used to buy cabs(50) here for $150 and under, haven't seen a cab of these since around 2010.SLB's of 25 are all that's offered anymore...….but well worth the coin

56,656 - 5 Vegas Series A torpedo. Lately I've been re-trying Cbid cigars that I used to smoke as a noob. Some are surprisingly still good. The Series A...are not.

56689 -- Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco...good, but not as fantastic as the OR of these a few years ago...tasted like two different cigars....shoulda bought a few boxes of the OR when they were available

Blue uses a darker shade of corojo wrapper leaf, from higher up on the plant giving the leaves more exposure to the sun, while the Black is wrapped in a caramel colored corojo leaf from lower on the plant...the darker color of the Blue could also be from longer aging of the wrapper leaves...

couldn't find any details of binder or filler other than it's all Nicaraguan...
