I know my palate is nowhere near as discernible as Phil’s but when I’ve tried the ones he’s given high marks or rave reviews to, I’ve generally enjoyed them. Like you, I was reluctant to pull the trigger on them but got them for a decent price. At this point, I’m gonna let the remaining 3 nap for a few more months to see if that changes things.

I hear you. Though I think I'm right on the cusp of being able to distinguish the taste of dew from a lily on the northern slope..... or maybe I'll just stick with sweet, some spice, and hints of cedar

You’re welcome Vince.

From Vato Cigars in Las Vegas. Cacman / Carl had a 5er sent to me in the Mahalo vitola, liked ‘em so next time I was there, bought some Shakas.

57898~ first cigar of the decade for ol’ Z?

Viaje Holiday blend (this years release) most DEFINITELY a PDR filled cigar, soft spots uneven burn but some good tobacco used. Won’t be buying again.....the 37 is awesome if you can find them btw.

Just tried the CAO Flathead 660 last night. Was great until the final third and then it overpowered me, held me down and made not-so-sweet love to me on it's own terms...
