Ralph Meeker studied at the Actors Studio, about the same time as Brando. He played a homicidal and sadistic Mike Hammer in Kiss Me Deadly in the early 50s. TMC had it on last night, followed by Mitchum in The Night of the Hunter. TMC always has some great ones playing.

Quinten Tarintino used the suitcase/valice from "Kiss Me Deadly" in Pulp Fiction, when Travolta and Jackson were after the brief case in opening segment of "Pulp Fiction"! Remember when Travolta opened the case how it glowed and he said, "Marsalles will be very happy"! "Kiss Me Deadly" is one of the great Film Noirs! Charlie

Char, I must admit you amaze me. I thought I was a buff. You could teach a course. Now I have to watch Pulp Fiction for the FIFTH time to see that atomic box!

The Atomic Box is actually the brief case that plays throughout the movie ("Pulp Fiction") and helps to tie the stories together with Tarrentino and Samuel Jackson! This is one of the greatest of all movies, caper, thriller, etc!!!! Charlie

A great device to have Travolta and Jackson alive and well back in the diner at the end of the movie. When Jackson was talking about that "one charming m...f...n' pig," I damn near died from laughing. It was a great movie. I think I saw Payback about 100 times on cable and if it was on tonite I would probably watch it again.
