I smoked my first Sancho Panza tonite. Lot of smoke, smooth, medium or on the mild side of medium in strength, lots of smoke, a natural sweetness like an old Habano, tasty. Only thing was, the head split open about 3/8 inch and the foot started unraveling. It was so good I just sat and dealt with it for a while. Even tho it seemed like a repeat of BMW's blow-up cigar a few posts ago, it burned very straight and finally burned past the unraveled foot. Then I took out my trusty Xikar and cut off the offending head. I had some good cigar left and took it to the nub. If one that holds together is as good as this one was, I gotta get some more. Anybody else like Sancho Panza? (Other than The Man From La Mancha, okay, Rick?) Or if you don't but have some, wanna make a deal? Or was I just lucky?

Glad to hear you were able to salvage yours. I like Sancho Panza. They're better with age. The flavor seems to be a little inconsistent but when you get a good one it's great. I think of them like a 1/2 price Padron. Barry

Not a bad smoke; but a bit too mild for me.

They sound pretty tasty. I have thought about getting some. Good to hear a postive comment. I had a La aurora preferido maduro blow up. I repaired it while smoking it, with cigar doctor, a cigar glue that doesn't add or detract from cigar flavor, and it holds a cigar better than spit. Incidently I didn't think much of the cigar. Tasted very young. The naturals are alot better.

I smoked my first Sancho Panza last week. Nice square pressed number, medium, well constructed, tasty - a very nice surprise. I was give a Cusano Corojo at the same time and smoked both the same day. The Cusano was a little stronger but both were very good.
