This board is a neverending black hole for amateur, cigar smoking comedians with little else to do with their lives. When a topic posts here, it may be months before it's chewed up and spit out. Why do I like it here? I think it's the way the auctions are all aphabetically ordered. Newbies rule this board. Anyone here a baseball fan?

I've been a baseball fan all my life ... couldn't count the number of games I've been to at all levels, from kids t-ball to the major leagues ... coached and umpired for years too. Only thing I could enjoy more about baseball would be if I could smoke cigars at the games ... but, this is CA and that's no longer allowed here. I hear they have a good cigar lounge at Tampa Bay though; too bad they don't have a better team.

I quit following baseball after the Baltimore Colts moved to Indianapolis.

I would tend to think of myself as a smart-ass apprentice. But thanks for the compliment!

I quit following baseball since the Philadelphia Phillies moved to New Jersey. Oh wait a minute, that was just wishful thinking on my part. JonR

Baseball, waiting for Godot, watching the grass grow, watching paint dry, fishing without bait, all wonderful things to do as long as you got a good gar and a glass of port or something cold

My fondest memory,is when they had 25 cent beer night and bat night in Detroit a few years back. I think it took about 3days to quell the riot that broke out.
