I was in Mexico City last night and when I got back I had a beautiful shipment from X waiting for me. The Sinatra cigar may be frankly not-so-hotra, but the box is a collectors item, in perfect condition, too. Can't wait to show it to my non-cigar-smoking friend in L.A. Plus a few nice stogies thrown in, nice surprise. Memo to self: do something nice for X. For starters, I cut and pasted his handle (so to speak) for the header of this post, because I usually mangle it. Note to Andy: I promptly sat down on the patio with the Sinclair and a glass of iced coffee. Good gar. Review to follow.

Eleltea,You're welcome. By the way,I'm guessing that because U made it back, U avoided those VW beetle taxi's. X

Yup. Take the ones with the airplane on the door from the airport, 147 pesos to the zone my hotel was in, flat rate. Then the hotel has indy (in both senses of the word!) drivers. The retrun to the airport was 90 pesos. No gar shoppe near the hotel and I was short on time. Bought a 5-pak of Partagas "Toppers" at the duty free at the airport. Found little round holes. They are currently freezing their little a$$es off. Ricos tacos de perros, muy sabroso. Excuse me, I have to get back to the bathroom.

Eleltea,I'm not sure those were tacos de perro. If U noticed,U always see a few dogs running around, but never any cats. Kinda makes U wonder dont it. As far as the drivers go,one of these days.the Indy Drivers Assoc.is going to wise up and give one of these guys a chance to drive in the 500. I know were my money is going to be on,if they do. P.S. be sure to give an honest opinion on those gars I sent U. U never know,I may be setting U up. X

Hmmmm. I did see two dogs, 1 rat, and no cats. Well, a little cat never hurt anyone (I think I changed up the old saying a little there.) In the old days when I lived in El Lay, I was frequently down in Tijuana, at the jai alai games (only went to the Blue Fox once, I swear), and I don't think there was a taqueria or panaderia in town that I didn't sample. Never got the 'revenge'. I love the food in Mexico. There is nothing like it, not even in San Diego. Only smoked the big Sinclair so far, X, and it was a good gar. I am going to bore everyone with a review pretty soon. Just haven't gotten to it yet.
