I recently purchased a box of Perdomo Estate Seleccion Regente. I have smoked three so far and the wrapper on all three will not burn proper. The inside of the cigar burns down real far while the wrapper burns a little and then stops burning at all. They are hard to keep lit and they start to taste harsh. Anybody have a solution? I thought they needed time to settle in my humidor but I have kept them there for over a month. Thanks

Doreen,What's the Humidity in your humidor? Did U calibrate the hygrometer before installing? The reason I'm asking U this,is that it appears your cigars are wet. Sometimes they arrive wet from the distributor. Are any of your other cigars doing the same thing? If I don't get back to U with answers, somedody here will. Everybody here is very helpful. X

I recently purchased a digital hygrometer that is reading between 71 and 72 degrees relative humidity. I also have a box of Padron Anniversary torpedo maduros that burn perfect and a box of CAO anniversarys that also burn and smoke perfectly. The perdomo seleccion are the newest cigars I added to my humidor. I've heard such wonderful stories about these cigars and I keep getting disappointed. Thanks for your help

Doreen,I just read another BB,and apparently the problem U are having is fairly common with Perdomo cigars. The remedy seems to be,keep the Perdomo's at about 65% humidity. X

Next time you go to smoke one, take it out of your humi, and leave it rest about a half hour. See if that helps.

I haven't had any trouble with Perdomo Estates other than the wrappers are a little on the fragile side.I have whats left of a box of Regentes also but I keep most of my Maduros at a lower humidity around 65%.Put a couple in a dry box for a day or just leave them out of the humi for a few hrs and see if this helps.
