Tobacco Club that was on Midway and Frankford in Dallas, Texas hosted a Cigar Tasting in September of 2000 and 2001. Unfortunately they are no longer in retail (however, they told me they are still in wholesale) and it is speculative whether they will host this event again. I heard Centennial Liquors was going to help them host it. Has anyone heard of its status? Does anyone know of any cigar tastings in the DFW area?

The cigar shop out of the Valley View Mall(UP in Smoke)
usually has a part in cigar tastings that go on in Dallas about every 3-4 months. Give them a call.

And first Wednesday of every month Pugsley's Library has a CIGAR SMOKER get together. Pugsley's Library is on Walnut Hill @ I-35 in Dallas. For $25 you get food and two good cigars. This month it is Cusano Corojo / Partagas Black Label cigars.

Also check out the "The Cigar Show" radio program on every Saturday at 4pm on 105.3 FM. They will tell you if there are any cigar events coming up

All this for just $25? How do they do it?

There is no way I am missing this one. I had to miss last month, so I have to make up for lost time. See you at Pugsley's Wednesday night!

You guys just missed what I hear was a great time - the Post Turkey Day Crawl in Dallas. You guys, if you haven't already done so, should hook up with the local club there - check out dfwcigar.com.
So tell me more about this party, TB. (Oh, and I've just gotta say it - "How 'bout dem Huskers?!")

I heard the Post-Turkey Day Crawl was another great time and was successful in garnering $1700 for charity. I have been sick for the past 2 weeks and was unable to attend.
Well, when you want to talk football these days, talk RED RAIDER FOOTBALL. You guys are moving in the right direction. I hope the firings, uh er, changes in Lincoln are what the doctor ordered. We'll see.

If y'all are in the N. Richland Hills area, the local retailer is having a holiday open house Fri and Sat. It's Town and Country on Davis Blvd. Rob and the team are great hosts. They even have a Hooters girl or two offering up wings. Ususally a nice raffle follows and some free cigars.
