Oh man, you're going to get alot of negative feedback here I'll bet. IMHO, the natural wrappers (white band) are fair, the Sumatra wrappers (red band) no good. I think the quality dropped off drastically when they began closing out. I bought a box of coronas before they began closing out, and I'm tellin' ya, they were an awesome mild cigar! It was my absolute favorite mild cigar at the time. Now you can get them for REALLY cheap, but buyer beware.

I had the red band (sumatra). One smoked out of a five pack, the other four were suddenly and violently shredded and scattered to the four winds leaving a trail of stank behind them.

several months ago, I saw a single red-band Tamboril in a cigar store that I often buy from ... remembering the brand with some fondness, I bought the cigar and lit it right after getting in the car ... if there'd been 4 more, my post would read just like Mean's does, but in my case, only one was scattered to the winds ...

My white band robustos have definately improved over the 2 months they have been in the humidor. When I first smoked them they seemed to taste fresh/green and a little bitey. But I had 20 of them so I held out, now they seem much better.

I found a bent up nail inside one of my Red Bands. A pissed off torcedor or what?

I have some white band toros. I agree with the vegetal/green taste. Reminds me of some Te Amos I had some time ago. I will smoke them eventually but will not buy more. Okay deal for $1 apiece.
