I was going to bid on the Lone Wolves, but out of respect for GYO, will wait for the next availability. This thread is a public service and there should be more like it!

Does all of this babble mean that the MSRP of $160 is too much for a beautiful box of Lone Wolf Robustos! Gee, if Jim Belushi can smoke them , and Chuck Norris, why can't you guys enjoy the beautiful lines and aroma of a Lone Wolf? Charlie

I just learned that $160 is too much to pay for Lone Wolfs (since it's plural, shouldn't that be Wolves?) ... what a fool I've been! ... luckily, I just love these puppies and don't feel TOO bad having paid only $6.50 for such a wonderful cigar ... yep, SFSteve and WoodenChuck have something in common after all ...

Maggie, do the research, you have a link to the internet, there are dozens of sites, including cbids retail site, cigarsinternational.com....... This is a great place to save money on cigars, but only if people realize that the same stuff will be here next week. Do the research on the lowest INTERNET prices for cigars not local retail prices. I have a dozen or so sites bookmarked and I see an item come up for bid and then check prices, once I have done that I set my highest bid to 20% to 30% under the lowest price I have found on the item. I don't win a lot of the time but my 3 humidors are fully stocked most of the time. Rob

I do exactly what Robert suggested and base my high bids on a 10-20% discount on the lowest BOX PRICE I can get from my usual internet cigar seller. I haven't won anything yet, but I have to say, it is somewhat entertaining to watch others pay OVER RETAIL for some of these gars! ;o) -- I guess a lot of folks on this site are not aware of the online stores I frequent. ???

I'm with Charlie, nothing. With the new "watch list" I don't need to put out a bunch of auto bids. I can just put them on my watch list and watch them go for too much money LOL. It also saves me the trouble of trying to buy more stuff (that I probably don't need) to reduce the shipping cost per item. Besides, my local shop just got some Opus X in and the Padron 1926 is on the way, I need to save some room on my credit card . Barry
