It's kind of comical that Slim starts up a little war of words with E-Chick and then leaves town for a vacation! Hook, line and sinker!!!!!

It just gives him plenty of time to come up with something a little more disparaging...he probably is looking in the thesaurus as we speak...poor wife...

It's starting to look like the rec.harley board I always had a problem with that name, having wrecked a harley myself.. My cigar is better than your cigar... I rode my cigar 3 days in the rain so I could sleep on the ground at Sturgis. My harley wont stay lit. I got a five pack of harleys for 6 bucks. Does your harley get wet when you puff it

I see this kind of stuff going on in every message board I have ever been involved in.

Some people take these forums FAR too seriously. I have been enjoying everyone's comments and contributions here, and if I find myself annoyed by the comments or attitude of certain individuals, I just ignore them in the future.

The best response to a flame is NO RESPONSE at all.

LOL...Harley riders sound just like paintballers...My gun shoots farther than yours, mine shoots straighter, I paid more money for ymy gun than you did for your car 8-) Oh well, time to light up a Romeo and hit the streets...

I lived in Spearfish(18 mi from Sturgis) for 3+ yrs and rode a Yamaha RD 400 two stroke that would smoke most of the Harleys/riders in Sturgis in the 1/4 mile.Talk about fun stuff!Yeah and I'd ride the 18 miles, sometimes in the rain to sleep on the ground as well...LOL

I have heard that years of nicotine poisoning can cause a nerve ganglion to grow between the optic chiasma and the fibers that twitch the anal sphincter, giving one a sh!!ty outlook on life.

....as every rider knows, the bike has a tendency to go where you're looking. Look ahead. Keep to the path. There is more road ahead.

Todog ... actually, I thought it was pretty good strategy. I wasn't trying to bait E-Chick, just make a point about the direction some of the posts seemed to always take. I said all I wanted to say on the subject, and my point was made. Had I stayed, it could have got ugly ... and my intention was not to go there.

DrMaddVibe ... immature you say? I think not. By my not being here to fan the flames, the fire took it's course and died out to the point where it I could come back and take care of damage control in a calm and adult manner, without rampant emotional outbursts or anger taking over. I think that was a very mature way to handle it ...

As you can see in E-Chick's latest thread ... all is resolved, and we both know where each other stands on the issue ... without all the extra jabbing that could have taken place.
