Is all propylene glycol the same???? I received the propylene glycol I ordered online and have some questions for you all. It says the following on the label: "Dosage: Cows, orally, 8 ounces twice daily for four days." "Indications: An aid in the treatment of bovine ketosis (Acetonemia) FOR ANIMAL USE ONLY" Do you guys think this will work for cigars? I assume propylene glycol is propylene glycol and it should be fine, just wanted to get everyone's opinion. And no, this is not a joke!!

The funny thing is that I had the box sent to work and it came in a box that reads as follows, "Calf Nursing Bottles ( Contains 6 bottles with 6 calf nipples)" I almost fell out of my chair!!

FYI - I got a gallon for $12, I had to pay $6 service charge since the order was under $50. If you guys want the link let me know [email protected] Also, I'd be willing to share with some of my fellow bay area smokers since I don't know what I'm gonna do with a gallon of PG.

I saw the same sight and even referenced it this morning in a post to slim. I told him I was going to the vet to get a gallon of PG to fill my RyJ tubes
I have an idea to fill them with oasis foam drill about 40 1/6inch holes in em and soak em with 50/50 glyCOW and make humi-sticks
13 bucks a gallon of pure PG
compared to 8 bucks for 4 oz of 50/50
no brainer to me

Its all the same stuff as far as I know.

The smoke fluid I use in my O gauge model train locomotives is PG with a pine scent added to it.

I am considering buying gallon of the stuff myself to use for both a 50/50 with distilled H20 as well as a cheap source of smoke fluid for my trains!

The stuff packaged for the locos is NOT CHEAP! About 10bucks for 7 ozs!

I have a gallon I bought at the local vet supply house. Perhaps there's one in your town also? Might save you the shipping cost. I paid 12 bucks for it and it will probably last me forever. It works great in my humi's and coolerador, ORV

I too have been using the agricultural food additive PG. I bought it at my local feed store. If you live close to someplace where they raise livestock, the feed stores usually stock it or they will order it for you. You can save on the shipping costs.

Unfortunately San Fran doesn't have a lot of feed stores. Although there are a lot of time I feel like livestock with how crowded it is!! Thanks everyone for the reassurance on my PG!!

Took a few seconds for me to comprehend that you have no feed stores in SF. There has to be land outside of the city. Don't they have livestock there? I guess I take that for granted. I buy a 50lb bag of birdseed for $8.00 for the feeders and 7 in 1 shots for the pets. I only have to take them to the vet for rabies shots. You don't have to buy everything at Walmart.LOL

the funny thing is I don't even know where a walmart, target or Kmart are in the city! I have to do that shopping before or after work out in the boonies. But all of my family is from Iowa so I know about feed stores and such, they're just not that easy to find around here!!!

You can get it at ay drug store ... they might have to order it for you, and you don't have to buy it by the gallon.

I would be concerned with anyone openly posting that they play with a viola. Isn't that like saying what do fat chicks and pogo sticks have in common?

So just what DO they have in common?

Really, I have traveled from town to town searching for the infamous glycol product, only to be told that it's a rarely-requested, out-of-date chemical sold somewhere else. Maybe.
