Just a quick note of introduction. I've been smoking since I can't remember when, mostly Nicaraguan lately. Found this place through the directions of Mr Mean, who is not quite as bad as his handle would indicate.

I'm always happy to find another forum for lovers of the leaf and I recognize many of the names here from other boards. I look forward to posting with you gentlemen.

Welcome aboard. You will find this board much more light-hearted than others. Just watch what you say, no sudden moves, and no pointy objects. That way, nobody gets hurt.

Coug, if you've survived winters in the Palousse, you'll survive here pretty well, following your successful initiation.

As Mean no doubt told you, we require that you send each of us a cigar, then we form our judgement of you, based on how we like it. You should be aware that while some will tell you that initiation also requires you to pose for a picture wearing a thin form-fitting pink top and a poodle skirt, but that effective the first of this month, that is no longer the case since the poodle skirt quota was met for the entire year by one of June's newbies who now seems to have left town.

BTW, Coug ... what part of the country do you live in now? After Drew recently opted to move to Buffalo where winters are as bad as in Pullman, if you say something like Cleveland, we could begin to question the education process at WSU.

Thank you for the welcome. I'll do my best not to make any sudden moves and get those cigars out to everyone right away. That should prevent a banning....this time anyway. I now live on the gentler side of the state, Steve. It's nice but there seems to be less beer. And by the way, everyone I know questions my education :-). As far as the picture....no one wants to see that.

MM, again, I was out of line with the poopy head comment. And the 'WS' in WSUCoug is for Washington State, so although it seems like quite a hike for an Illinois herf.....I'll give it a shot. Anyone else here from the west coast?

hello, Rick ...

Coug ... there is at least one other resident of WA on the board and more than a dozen of us down here in CA ... myself and the above mentioned RICK being two among that number. Probably even more who don't post as frequently, but just "lurk" on the sidelines ...

Maybe instead of sending out all of those cigars, you should just invite all of us to your place and we could have a great big West Coast herf ... sounds like a party to me. See you at your place.

oh, and Coug ... one more thing before I go ... don't worry too much about that poopy head thing ... hell, all of us have been called much worse ... Mean no doubt feels quite lucky you didn't come right out and say sh*t-head ... (see what he got you into)

Cliff....you'll have to come get them. MrMean had some good suggestions though. Going to try and pick up some of the fishdogbirdhead (sp?) this weekend.

Thank you pebbea. I live in Renton, so we're not to far apart. And most people won't admit to being related to Wazoo grads :-)
