Hello all! Been purchasing here and lurking the boards for quite a while, and figured it was time to join in officially. Cigar smoker for about 5 years, and favorites include PAMs, VSGs, CAO maddies (my special occasion collection, can't afford too often), and Mayorga maddies, La Rosa Especial maddies, Onyx Reserve, and Consuegras among others for my everyday smokes. I've learned alot here, and hopefully can contribute. Keep up the good work guys!

Hey, Dano !!

Good to have you out of the shadows and into the light ... since you've done some lurking, you're no doubt aware that to welcome yourself as a newbie, you're required to send each of us a cigar then, we base our opinions of you based on what you send ... however, you mention VSGs, CAO, Mayorga, La Rosa Especial and Onyx maduros ... we already have a pretty good opinion of you since those're all good and so's you don't worry too much about what cigar to send to who, it'll be my pleasure to make you feel right at home by letting you send ALL of those to me and I'll take care of dividing them ...

Welcome aboard!

This forum is definitely an "interesting place". There are some cool folks around here to be sure.

Cheers.

SteveS -

Does this technique work for you? I'm curious about how many free cigars you've gotten now..... :)

none, so far, but as you can see, I remain undeterred .... lol

I guess these newbies aren't all that green and they can all tell there's a lot of tongue-in-cheek, huh?

Thanks for the welcome SteveS: That's so nice of you to let me send to you to divide among the group. Since I feel so welcome, I want to send you a shipment from my ultra premium collection from some of my "wins" on cigarbid. I didn't mention these earlier because I didn't want you guys to think I was a cigar snob. The shipment which includes my prized Lone Wolfs and Montagues is on it's way! LOL!

Bienvenidos...Dannnnnooooo...Jump in wherever, here or on the auction. If you've been watching the forum for any time at all you know we can be a pretty boring bunch and like it that way. So don't start anything, okay?

Welcome Danno!, from an intermittent peruser of the forum. By the way, if you like maduro's so much, you must try the El Rey Del Mundo "double maduro's" ...bitchin smoke. And for the Monta's, not a bad smoke for $.50 per! Great for moochers in the 'hood.

Actually, we just greeted the last newbie in this week's quota yesterday. You'll have to come back Monday.

Gonz, another newbie thread to delete.

LLT, I think if you check carefully, that (particularly in view of the quality of cigars he has to send out) we can allow Danno to be welcomed this week ... that would not be true had the welcome to KimLovesSomethingOrAnother stuck on the board, but for some reason or another, her welcome was halted in mid-party ... that, if my math is correct, allows us to welcome Danno this week

(Note to Danno: you can see I'm going to bat with the guys for you here ... I know you'll remember that when you send out the cigars with your welcome kit)

Thanks to all for the warm (?) welcome. SteveS, let me know when you receive the Lone Wolfs & Montagues. Fortunately for you, I have a large quantity of these to disperse. Count on a welcome kit on a regular basis.

I thought I read on this board somewhere that newbies get a premium sampler sent to them from all the veterans. Funny, I did a search, but I couldn't find the thread.
