SF, CA ... my oldest son, who has been a Sox fan all his life, somehow actually met and married a woman from MA ... they now live in Millbury.

In fact, MrsS is back there right now, visiting ... me and the dog are out here on our own ... cheering for the Sox from afar.

I actually work close to Millbury.
SF- beautiful city. Went there on my honeymoon 3 yrs ago and loved it. I'd would've moved there in a heartbeat- couldn't convince the wife.
I hear Pack Bell is an awesome place to see a game. Have you been there yet?

Trying to put spaces between paragraphs on postings, how do you do that?

I have and it is ... and I understand what you mean about a wife not wanting to move ... we stayed put for 6 years before moving to CA ... overwhelming economic conditions changed her mind.

Say hello to Jr for me if you happen to run into him.

I'm a huge Sox fan also, we need this series!!!

My sister lives out there in Newton, I have no idea where that is in relation to anywhere else though.

I'm trying the paragraph thing as well

Welcome fellow Mass residents and Sox fans from all over! Danno, how far southeast? I'm on the Cape. As for Newton, it's just west of Boston on the Pike. And Milbury is about another 35 miles west of that. But enough geography. The Sox lost some exciting games. Too bad, but the strike will kill this season anyhow.

Hi tailgater. I'm in B'water. Going to your part of the world in a couple of weeks for vacation. We get a house in Dennisport for a week every year, great area.

Misery loves company- I don't have to tell you about the pain and suffering of being a Sox fan. You're correct about the strike; wouldn't it be fitting that the Sox get it all together this year for a serious run, just in time for the strike.

Well, with the name tailgater, I guess we'll be able to look forward to the Pats season together. Hopefully you'll be tailgating @ CMGI.
