..... if anyone has had any negative experiences with trades. I know this might be better suited in the "Trades" topic but I figured it would get more exposure here. I think this would be beneficial for all of us to know who to avoid trading with. Hope I am not out of line. Thanks.

I have used the 2 main auction sites for years. ALL buys. I have never been shorted in any way. Seems like an honest group inhabiting a anonymous planet. Kinda weird. You pose a good question. I am interested in the responses.

99% of trades gone well. Only one trade was I ever shorted the agreed cigar. Others have had bad experience with the same person. E-mail me at themrmean at earthlink.net to find out who.

All of the people on this board that I have trade with have all gone better than expected.

All good experiences. Most cigar smokers are generous to a fault. Many of the guys here are like brothers to me. You know who you are. lol

I have only done a couple of trades. I am really satisfied with them. If I have some good stuff to offer I will not hesitate. It's fun! I guess one should give a potential trader every opportunity to make good and when the obvious becomes painful....post their name and address all over the board. We don't want some cheapskate changing their user name and defrauding more than one of us!
