I am sorry but I have to speak out on the lack of common sense on the bid board when it comes to a product stocked and featured in Cigars International Catalog! The Onyx Reserves are one of my top 10 cigars and I cannot help but notice that two gentlemen are bidding on them at $64 and will pay more by the time they are through with their skillful cunning bids! The cigars sell for 59 bucks at CI and you can order them without the pressure of bidding, but it seems that there are those who do not understand that CI will gladly accept their "overbids" and I do not blame them for that, I just hope both illustrious bidders have price points of over $70 so they can really get a "great deal"! Do your homework and then bid! I know the board "police" will blast me for this but it is senseless to bid on something and not even know the price! Enjoy.......I am smoking one as I type this and I paid $59 for the box of 20. A great deal! Charlie

Psssst!! ... Charlie ... don't wake them up!!! ... I gotta agree those two bidders are obviously without a clue ... but I am actually quite grateful to those two guys ...

See, I take the point of view that if no overbidders existed, CI would have to raise prices ... so, in order for you and me to get a good deal on our Onyx Res Minis (and yes, those ARE truly wonderful!), what we need is MORE guys like RM and AM ...

Steve, as usual you put things in the proper light! Have to agree and let those guys just go for it! I hope they enjoy the Onyx Reserves as much as we do, and I wonder if they would pay 30 bucks or more for a box of Lone Dumps, ugh Lone Wolf Petite Belicosos. LingMAO! Charlie

And next week when they come up again you'll be able to get them for $55 since these schmucks won't be bidding. chris

AM is a regular overbidder here.

love that AM ... his consistant overbids offset the underbids of some of the rest of us ... AM, if you see this, welcome ... good to have you on board.

Ah! My old friend AM from Providence RI.

I see that he once again bid on the entire lot! LOL! Will this guy ever learn! Either he bids too low, but bids the whole lot to its average win level on day one, or he overbids the lot and then gets knocked out by even more clueless bidders than he!

The whole Multi Quantity thread was inspired by this guy's antics.

I have to agree with Steve though, that we NEED guys like this to keep CI and Cbid going strong. Although I must admit, it is very frustrating when they constantly SCREW with the auctions for items YOU WANT!

Maybe if the M's were not so stupid, er substitute ill informed they would simply order a catalog from CI and order the Onyx when they want them at a reasonable price! At least 10 bucks below another competitive house! Oh well CB/CI makes out on these characters and continues to offer nice deals! Charlie
