My wife's a tupperware lady. if you guys want some tupperware containers please let me know. I make credos for them and everything. Maybe we can trade a few cigars for some containers. I also sell them outright as well.
email for details.

He already posting this (at the same time) over in 'Cigars & Related' ... and got slammed for it.

Since he hasn't responded ... I take it he has learned his lesson.

tupper ware was the hot item in the late 60' and early 70'. tupperware partys were a big sales tool. fuller brush and avon were also hot door to door item. avon is still around a little, but as you said you can buy all the plastic covered boxes at 99 cent stores for 99 cents. i personally like covered soap holders because of the oval shape. it sort of looks better in the humidor even though it doesn't do anything better than square ones.

Right, I make some credos like you guys do I was thinking of basically trading say a mid sized tupperdor for a 5pack of something.. I'm NOT trying to make a living selling tupperware. it's just pretty cheap for about $15 four can get a container that works pretty well and has a credo in it. I keep meaning to go to the dollar store and look for other containers as well. but I can't justify a car ride to the store for a $1 purchase. :) I'm not trying to fool anyone. it's cheaper if you do everything yourself. Some people just like to buy pre-made stuff. my wife sells tupperware to our friends and family just because we don't know how else to get the stuff. anyways if someone wants to trade some cigars for some tupperware let me know. Thanks.

Damon, trading here is totally acceptable, but SELLING (as you did in the Cigars and Related section) tupperware isn't (and shouldn't) be acceptable...They sell humidors and humidifiers on this site, which perform the same function as tupperware containers when it comes to cigars

buy a half dozen and check out their plants. i have at least a dozen at a buck each that are growing very well.

by the way credo is a brand name. if you are using wet oaises in side the plastic containers i would not hesitate to call it a credo like device only better. the whole thing costs me a dollar for the soap dish or plastic container and i just bought 4 larger than brick size hunks of wet oaises for about $5.00. each hunk of wet oaises will make more than half a dozen "credo like devices" and i would be happy to send one to anyone that want's one. no charge, no trade just my pleasure to make and send them. tell me what size would work best for your humidor. email address to [email protected]
