I was looking at one on ebay and it was milk glass lined. I had never seen these until today. Is this something special? Also there is a small crack in the glass, will this matter.

wbslngr,

take it from someone who has only been hanging around here for 18 months or so, go the coolerdor route. it's much cheaper and by the time you get done "winning" boxes and 5 packs you'll need something bigger than a humi that holds 50 smokes. jmho...

I have ten humidors that I have bought online, most here at cigarbid.

... most of them were in the $19 to $34 dollar range. The most expensive one, was my recent 'win' for $71, and that was the Don Salvatore Sterling 150 Display Humidor.

... it's a beauty!

What CJ, said, with one exception,if you want a few nice dors to display, have patience and pick up a few here. Just don't get into any bid wars. X

Patience, watch the prices you can tell what the good prices are then just wait til your bid wins. It is still cheaper to bid and loose til you finally get your price here than any other place I have found.

Oh, I have 10 of the 50 count humies and 2 300count and 6 jar type & I'm working on 2 coolidors. Gotta quit biddin. But if I keep picking teams, like I did this week, in the football pot then they will relieve me of a few gars. LIFE IS GOOD tho.

hey x,

if put your dogrockets in your display humi's, your not-knowing no-smoking friends will think thats were you keep your good smokes. and then take your good smokes...ah, you can figure it out...lol

I have watched the e-bay stuff for a while. I have bought exactly one. Tread carefully. The vintage finish (crazed) may not be what you want. The old ones have glass or tin. Not as good as cedar. If one has cedar, count on replacing it. The pictures can be deceiving(why is the focus so bad?). If you are handy, and get one cheap, it might be worth it. Otherwise go by the previously stated wisdom.
