Just to continue the "seconds" thread from last week and, I suppose, expose myself as a "cheapee" aficiando.

More in the catagory of short filler another cigar I have had really good luck with is the Belinda Spanish Twist. Lonsdale size, very consistent in construction, medium to full bodied and rolled in the traditional cuban style with a curly tail. These are always good and very inexpensive.

Also, I really like the Arturo Fuente Curly Heads. Also a short filler cigar I have always had good luck with these. One of my favorites.

I've loved the Curly Heads since the day I first had one...and even better, they come in 40ct/boxes, which make them ideal for taking to a dinner to pass around.

Have you tried the curly head deluxe? They are medium/long filler. Also cheap.

Just had a Curly Head and a Curly Head Deluxe (maduro) last week for the first time. My local store is selling the C-Heads for about $1.85 and the Deluxe for $2.40. I liked 'em both, although the Deluxe had a nicer flavor and kick to it. Have these been up for bid here? If so, I musta been oblivious. Which I frequently am, btw.

X, not really dinner...I help produce scenario paintball games, and the Friday before is a giant cookoff/party/steak dinner, so I always bring lots of cigars....I pass the Curly Heads around to the people that smoke cigars occasionally, but aren't fiends yet, and then my private reserve, as I like to call it (I have my ego-maniacal moemnts) is for my close cirlce of friends that smoke....The invents run anywhere from 200-1200 people..

Hey Sammy,

If you like cheapie's, try the Topper "Old Fashioned" oscoro, made in the good old USA. A perfecto shaped about 4" long and come in boxes of 50 for about $25. Passed some out to some friends (said they looked like little turds!) and all who tried 'm, liked'm. Something cheap.....something different.

Augie

A good, cheap maduro that I have found is the Navarro (made in Nicaragua), made by an unmentionable competitor of this site..
