Just back from a week of pure bliss in Idaho...left: starting off the first night with a bang (yes, it is); bottom left: Just a portion of heaven on Kelly Creek; right: yours truly cooling off with a mid-day smoke and sitting in 50 degree water; bottom right: me on the left winning the "big ash" contest. CAO cammie toro; was a close race...

Life is good..it's all good...yes
Counting the days...

Fish? what fish? all catch and release with nothing over 14; mostly 10s and 12s; steelhead season starts late September...couldn't hold out that long, but maybe next year...

Idaho is cool. I spent a summer in Melba outside of Nampa. Pretty much irrigated desert there but we got to travel a little.

Love Idaho...looks like it really was a trip! I feel the envy boiling in the room already from these great pics man!

Anyone go to Coure De Laine (man, my spelling sucks!), Idaho? I've passed through there and have always wanted to go back and spend some time on the lake. Absolutely beautiful country...

Forgot to add that it looks like your ash is the winner! That is if YOU were the photographer.

That would be Cour D' Alene. I never misspell that one, because the name is the same as my high school sweetheart (Alene, not Cour D').
