Give an apology to America, too funny. Because we all know it's THE most important thing in America and on a Senator's mind to use your right hand when pledging our flag!! Screw passing laws protecting our rights and supporting our military and our President, THE most important thing is getting that damn hand right when pledging allegiance. And notice I said A senator's I don't like Daschle either, but at least come up with something better than this horse$hit!!

I'm certainly not making excuses for this goon, but I sent this pic to my left-leaning father-in-law and he responded that Daschle always does the pledge with his left hand because he has a gimp right arm from combat injuries. Is this true?

Cliffie,I'm pretty sure that was Bob Dole who has the bum arm.I did a little research(very little) and Daschle served three years as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Command,it says nothing of being wounded.

i looked and can't see the jacket buttoned the wrong way. of course i may not remember the way a jacket is closed. if i remember pause. i just looked in my closet and found a jacket. i haven't worn one in 20 + years, and the left goes over the right as you said.
