I remember when we had our little WORLD CUP SOCCER debate in the summer that you said you were a Bucs fan. They look pretty strong this year, do you still feel like they will bomb again in the playoffs or has their early success and strong play given you a new respect for the Bucs?

I like the Bucs, but they're not my favorite team. When I was a kid I liked the Vikings, Tarkenton,Foreman and the Purple People Eaters. I went to visit my grandfather and he took me to a NFL game(my first in person!)and it was a great time. I watched a quarterback fire off a 63 yard pass and the receiver brought it in with both hands in mid stride. I stood as he crossed the goal line and shouted "That's my new favorite team Grandpa!" The QB was Ron Jaworski and the WR was Harold Carmichael. That team has ALWAYS been my favorite ever since.

Sure I root for the hometeam, but look who's been sending the hometeam to the golf course the past 2 years...HARD! The Bucs have 2 cancers on their team and must deal with them in order to go to the next level. #1 is Warren Sapp. He's not producing. He need to do his job, and he's living off of his past "glory". #2 is Keyshawn Johnson. It'd be real nice if he'd run his routes the way he's supposed to. Both of the thugs go running for the camera or the newspapers and get their side out before the papers are printed on Monday. Boo-hooing about their touches and how they were double teamed.

Whew...Anyway it's nice to see you talking about a REAL game. What was the question?

The Bucs scare me this year for some reason...I hope they have to play their playoff games on the road ( a cold cold road).
Jaworski and Carmichael are my first memory of the Eagles also along with Montgomery. Although my mother tells me I used to root for Roman Gabriel and I even dressed in his uniform one Halloween when I was a kid. All I can remember about him is I beleive he wore #5 and that is it.
One last point....Soccer is a real sport (now don't go there..LOL)

They allowed the use of hands?!? Well! If that's the case...then it must be a sport!

In case you want the WHOLE lowdown of my fave's...

Hockey - Love Detroit, will root for Toronto.

Football - Eagles, will root for Bucs and any team that's playing Dallas and Washington!

NCAA - Florida State and anyone playing Michigan,Notre Dame, and USC. I've been known to root for all of the Florida schools, but not when they square off against me 'Noles!

Baseball - Dodgers and Angels. Also root for Detroit and Cubs.

Basketball - Detroit, and LA

P.S. - That's the order I rank the sports too!

2) NFL - Eagles and anyone playing the Cowgirls, Redskins or Giants
*
3) MLB - :( Phillies.... (and Arizona only because of Schilling)
