Everynow and then I run across a cigar or two, sometimes a box, of the regular line that is every bit as good as any of the Annies I've smoked. When I get lucky enough to get a whole box like that, I'm sorry that I didn't buy two.

Has any one else experienced this with Padrons, or any other brands for that matter?

I have Barry; Had a box of Churchill maddies that had almost 8 months on them and a year by the time I finished them. I'm saving again for a box like that but may go for the gusto and get the Magnums in maduro, put them away and see what happens...then again if you can stand it and let your PAMs go over six months, you'll need to clean yourself up after smokin' one!

I'm not a big fan of Padrons except for the Anny lines (especially the maddies)...Don't know why.

Padron regulars are one of the smokes I enjoy in Natural more than maduro, I think the maduro overpowers a certain cocoa nuance of the natural line. Don't get me wrong, I won't turn down a maddie. Annies are too rich($$$)for my blood.

are we talking 2k, 3k and such? if so, i usually buy the 2k boxes and have had real good boxes and so-so boxes. the box i'm on now is running ok but more than a few are having cap problems. c'est la vie...

CJ,
That's pretty much my experience. I keep 2+ boxes of the Delicias (my everyday, or twice a day) and a box of 2000 and usually a box of Churchills in the regular line. The box of 2000s that I have is what you expect, but I just got a box of the Delicias that is outstanding. The Churchills I'm working on are very good but every 3rd or 4th cigar stands out among the rest as extraordinary.

Seem to be a "high visibility" stick here on Cbid..
Rarely seem them for under retail here..

Very good smoke though.. agreed.

To me the 3k's are every bit as good as the annies

I have been a Padron fan for the past year. Haven't found one yet I disliked; Delicias, 2000's, 3000's and the occasional Anni. Prefer the Maduro but wouldn't turn down a puro for that matter.
