Anyone try any of the La Vieja Habana's from Drew Estates? Based on other sites, these are only retailing for about $2. They are going for much more at CB.

For the price, they're a good buy. Fairly strong, but one-dimensional.

Box price elsewhere is $26.00. A 5-pack is selling Sunday night at CBid for $23.00. It's wise to shop around with brand new lines.

That's hilarious! aren't those bidders gonna feel like suckas when they realize what the MSRP is?!

The word is that these are short filler cigars. Can anyone verify?

I still have a half dozen La Vieja Maduros from the 1997 batch. Some of the best out there. I'm looking foreward to trying these new ones.

The original La Vieja Habano was a beautiful long filler cigar made by Tabacalera Perdomo under contract by Drew Estates. The new version is short, mixed filler made by Drew Estates at the Drew Estates factory in Nicaragua.

you're darn tootin Steve, the originals are out of sight, I have 11 left from a old box and am rationing these. I can guarantee the new ones won't be anything like it, in fact I think the similarities end with the name. I wonder if Drew Estate even is aware of the earlier version.

So, DO share, where can you find the boxes at the price you stated. I am looking forward to trying these.
