Much has been said about regulating humidity in the humidor, but can anyone explain how do you regulate temperature to arrive at the "Optimum" 70/70. Thanks for the feedback

Some of the really large humidors have their own temp control. If yours is like mine, set your house's thermostat at 70 deg. with the appropriate climate control device set to "on".

heat up your clothes iron until it's 70 degrees, and then put it in your humidor

what danny said. use a dry iron, though. steam irons make your cigars soggy.

forget relative humidity. keep the cigars at 70% humidity + or - 4 % and you are fine. if you need an article regarding humidity and the infamous rh, email me and i will send you a copy and you can make your own judgement.

yadayadayadayada...ronwar some people have had very good sucess converting mini wine chillers/cellars into humidors.Haier makes a good one for about $400 a bit cheeper at Sams and or Costco.I myself had a frigeador up and running for a while but I need to get an electric humidifier to keep up with the humidity loss when the compressor kicks in,older refrigerators work best, the non self defrost models.

For more info email me and I'll direct you to another site with more info on these.
