When placing all of my newly acquired cigars in mu humidors, should I leave the cellophane on or off?

I bought two cases of different cigars today. A case of Ramon Allones, and a case of Hoyo de Monterrey Dark Sumatra. Did I do ok?

tarheel,

Smoke a couple and let us know what you think.

I've had one of the Ramone Allones Rubustos for over a year and just haven't smoked it.

I've had one of the new HDM Dark Sumatra and I thought it was a little bland or flat tasting with just a slight taste of spice. Others really seem to like them.

The only one that will know if you like them is you, so smoke on and keep the lit end out.

BTW, be sure to remove the cellophane and cedar sleeves before you smoke them, he,he,he

The Ramon Allones was quite pleasant. The HDM was a bit strong, but got better as I got through it.

Definetely remove the cellophane before smoking. I tried that once and while I can't really remember what happened, I am told it wasn't a pleasant experience for me.

Seriously speaking its your choice. I leave the cello on so the cigars maintain there individual personality. I have smoked cigars that have been cello wrapped for years prior to lighting and have found no negative results. If you are aging them I personally would add several months to the process though.

OOOOOO That Smell..........Leon

I like the Ramon Allones a lot. A good quality cigar at a good price.
