I was given a HDM Excalibur with a second band on it. It was the name of the person who was handing them out. It looks like HDM and Punch are offering this new feature when you purchase boxes. Just wanted to let you guys (and chicks) know of this fun little feature. I don't know if CI will offer it, but it looks kinda funny. For those of you who are having a special event or are just plain shallow, check it out. That leads me to an interesting question, do they put the bands on down in Hond or DR or do they put em on up here? The have cellophane already on them...

they had a promotion last year where you could get one with your name on it and you could get one for a friend with his/her name on it. the catch was that you had to buy 2 at your local tobacconist to get the free personalized ones. not a bad deal. i took advantage of it. 1066's are great cigars.

My tobacconist let me slide for the 2 stick commit. I'm sure there were a few that did the same. My buddy and I got to smoke ours during a big member-guest golf tourney. It was a nice touch and the envy of all my friends to have your personalized band.

I hope they do the same again. The only draw back was no nicknames.

There are a couple sites out there (Corona Cigar comes to mind) that offer "Lazer" Ingraving of smokes... It supposedly doesn't harm the cigar at all and you can get anythhing put on there... Name, company, dates etc.
I thought about getting a box of the service banded cigars (sorry forgot the name... it is early as I type this) for each of my nephews that graduate from bootcamp this month (One for the Marines, one for the Air Force... I am Army... WHERE did I go wrong!?) ;-)

Just not sure they would be "into" it.

Just change your name to Fuente or Padron or Montecristo...Take your pick, that way your fav sticks would all be personalized!

One of the members of my online cigar club (he's a cigar rep fro several companies) had Perdomo make rosado wrapped cigars with our club name on it! (In fact, E-Chick had one in her box...uh...mmm..maybe that typed better than it sounded..uh..sorry)..Very sharp band (yellow and white with my initials in the middle, hence the name of the club, KC's)
It's rosado wrapped..Not a bad smoke at all!..I sent some of the members here a few...I think I have exactly ONE left I found in my coolerdor
