I wish you luck bro but to be honest, trading short stories for any Opus X is like trading a gallon of milk for a cow (don't ask me where I came up with that one..I'm tired and need to go to sleep!..LOL)
You can find short stories pretty much anywhere at $4 a stick, but the least expensive Opus goes for at least $9 a stick
Good luck!

Hey guys I understand that certain places shorts are easy to find but it seems a lot of new guys like to bid up the five packs here above the 40 dollar mark. So supply versus demand says they must not be that many out there for 4.00 a stick. Also I have a box of these and would be willing to trade many for an X or 2. P.S. sorry for the yelling it gets to be very long days sometime.

BTW, rookie's right. If you think Short Storys are hard to get and expensive ... OpusX are nearly impossible for many. It's not uncommon for OpusX to go for $20 or more ...

Besides (although I liked rookie's comparison), it would be more like trading a Volkswagon for a Mercedes ... the Opus being far superior in every way!

Good luck!

I'm sure you'll have no problem completing a trade with someone, especially if you have several short stories

Volkswagen for a Mercedes huh, I forgot I wanted to trade a lone wolf for an OpusX! WOW, I never knew that shorts were considered junk by people I guess you learn something everyday! Well, if anybody is still interested in my “VOLKSWAGENS” let me know I can bring you 4-5 shorts for OPUSx.

I don't think short stories are junk at all...They're just more prevalent than Opus X...As I said, I'm sure someone will take you up on it!..That's a great deal! (4-5 for one)!!

Short Story's are one of my favorite cigars, I love them ... and don't consider them junk at all. They are excellent cigars, but just aren't in the same leauge as OpusX.

Compared to an OpusX ... a Short Story is the 'economy' ride in the Fuente top-end line ;-) and 4/5 to 1 ratio would be a fair deal.

The leaves used in the OpusX are of a higher and rarer grade. Some say the OpusX is a combination of Don Carlos, Anejo and other limited release lines ... but Carlito will not let on to anyone what his secret blend really is.

OpusX. What an excellant smoke. My local smoke shop sells them. What $$ range are you looking at?

I've managed to get about 10 Opus in varios sizes and I have them resting while I wait for special occasions to puff one. I paid between $14 and $19 for ea.
