I was wondering what everyone smoked when they only have 10 to 15 minutes. I've found several good long smokes in my year or so of indulging, but nothing good on the short side. Any suggestions???

Any cigar I want to smoke ... and then I just put it in my 'Cigar Savor' to fire it up at a later time.

The Griffins short coronas. Pricey as singles but if you get them online, they can be had for about $2.69

Although not to a lot of folks liking, I enjoy the Don Tomas Perfecto #1 for a short smoke.

My favorite topic. I never seem to have time for a whole stogie (especially at work) and I extremely dislike relights. They always taste like a nasty old ashtray.

My preferred brands are the CAO Petit (Maduro or regular). Macanudo Ascot Maduro or regular. La Habanera Petit.

I'll try a tin of whatever is out there but those are my current favorites....subject to change. the local stores have Mac Ascots but they run $20-$25.

No one around here carries CAO. CB is the best place to get my shorties.

I hope some people find this of some use.

If you find your cigar starting to get bitter or funky tasting (last half of cigar), try the purge. This should also be done before you put out a cigar you want to relight.

Hold fire to the end of the cigar and puff to get a nice cherry. Then take a deep breath of fresh air and blow hard through the cigar while holding fire to end.

You will notice a huge flame coming out, if you keep blowing it will eventually change colors and die out. Now put it in the ashtray (or your Cigar Savor) and let it go out ...

Or ...

... take a drag and you should notice a substantial improvement in flavor. This gets alot of looks at the cigar bar but it works great. Maybe everyone here knows this procedure, but I am always amazed at the number of people that I meet at cigar functions that have never heard of this.

Since this is the first time I posted anything, everyone can tell what a dummy I am since I started a whole new thread with the same title. See my comments there and I'll try to improve my cigar posting IQ.

I have run into the same predicament, so I have tried lots of short gars.

If you want a helluva good short smoke try the Jucy Lucy, by Natural. These are excellent little cigars that you can get through very quickly. If your into Aromatics, the Acid C-Note is really nice as well.

On a cheaper note, I have tried the Biarritz Coffee Break, the V Centenial Coffee Break and the Don Lino Coffee Breaks. The V Centenial was a lot better, but all of these are solid little gars. I have several of each in my humidor and you can get them for about a buck apiece or less on C-bid.

There can be only one............Leon

Ed those 3 kings are good but some have a pretty tight draw.
