Welcome. Does something special happen to leaves in Yankee land? Ours just dry out, fall off , and blow down the street.

Hey Z, welcome aboard!

By the way, do you still call people from the next state south, Mass-holes? (my sister married one!)

First, it's not Yankee land, it's Red Sox land and the leaves do behave differently; they turn a specticular color, then like yours dry up, drop to the ground, but then a miraculous thing happens, they all blow to Conn. and New York where they try to pay their taxes with them.

There isn't much going on in Yankee Land these days...it seems as though their reign has ended. So sad... (tear) Go Anaheim!

Anaheim ????? Why Anaheim???

Why not the San Francisco Giants ??

The Giants were an original National League team based in the East ... why would you not root for them instead of the LA/California/Anaheim/Disneyland Angels

Well, if it comes down to me wanting a player to win, it would definitely be Barry Bonds. However, if it came down to me wanting a team to win, I think it would be the Angels for some reason. Don't ask me why, I am not a fan of either team. I just picked my favorite at the beginning of the playoffs and am sticking with it.

CW ... several generations of Red Sox fans have spoken that way ... you may be right, but in this case, we weren't speaking of permanent loyalties, but of of whom to cheer for with our main favorites gone ...

btw ... what happened to your Rockies ??

Welcome, another newbie.
Have a Lone Wolf.
Send Steve a cigar (not a Lone Wolf).
Check out my fishing buddy in the picture post.
Lust after E-Chick.
Bow when Slimboli enters the room.
Watch out for guys whose names start with X.

Them's the rules. I didn't make 'em up. Live with 'em and you'll be fine. Ignore them, and, well, don't ask.

Welcome cigarz,

Heck, roll and smoke them leaves! Got any papers?

Well, that's what I was told some people do.

huttman,

Keene, NH,; born, schooled and will probably die here. Three inches of snow this AM, just a little too early. By the way Steve, if I have to give up a cigar, what kind??????

Welcome to the board

Had to pause a minute..... Also make sure you ask the seniors memebers about flavored cigars. It seems they can't talk enough about them. You can learn alot from them on these subjects

Steve prefers White Owl but sometimes you can get some Dutch Masters in the auctions here.

(Note to Steve: I did not mention your infatuation with flavored cigars.)

When you really get going here, you can also learn how to make two posts with the same button and one may have no text.

Good to know there are more than 1 of us in NH. I am in Manchester. Not quite as much snow but still enough to make the commute horrible this morning.

Hey, Rookie ... with a bit of luck, the recent proliferation of Steve's that you mention will preclude my getting any of those White Owls and flavored cigars that GYO is having the newbies send to the other Steves ...

damn ... it really IS getting confusing, huh? SteveS looks a lot like the plural Steves ... maybe I should look into changing my nick ... think?
