Requiem for a Dream was a very good movie. I bought that DVD right away, even though I don't think I will ever watch it.

If you want to see a weird disturbing movie rent Strangelands...it's directed and produced by a member of the band Twisted Sister. Ironically, he is the villian as well. My mom recommended this one to me...nice huh?

You didn't like Toy Story or Beauty and the Beast? C'mon!

What animated flicks did you like? I'm a huge fan of the genre, and like most of the Disney titles. Shrek,American Pop,Heavy Metal,TitanAE,and The Iron Giant were good animated movies as well that weren't Disney.

Dr. I have been taking my nieces' ten year old son to the movies for the last three years and we watched quite a few animated films of which the only one I enjoyed was Shrek. Shreks animation was the best I have ever seen and it was extremely well written. I have to wonder tho what Walt would have said if the movie " The Last Temptation of Christ " was proposed to him. You probably know the man (?) who made the movie Shrek was let go by Disney. JonR

" The Last Temptation of Christ " excellent movie.

i don't accept the idea of divinity, but it makes me realize what the man faced and had to give up trying to help the people that needed help. something like "the Nazarene" by sholem asch.

Bully- Shakes the Clown is one of my all time favorite movies. It is so stupid, and so terrible, but I can't help from watching it every time it is on. A friend bought it for me for my birthday one time.

"You clowns are on drugs!"

DMV, "Ravenous" was good. "Heavenly Creatures", too.

Good choices. I would add "The Black Robe". Disturbing in a thought-provoking way.

WHen I was younger, I was forced to take a date to see 'Beaches'. THAT was disturbing... To this very day, I go into convulsions whenever I hear Bette Midler sing.

Marla is so right on.......anything with Babs Striesand is disturbing in more ways than one as she smiles into the camera on the disgusting closeups of her!

Disturbing movie was Night Shift!

"Heavenly Creatures" is on HBO2 tonight at 8:30 PM CST. This is a strange and disturbing movie, definitely worth a look. This is the first movie I can remember seeing Kate Winslet in. JR sez check it out and report back here!

Happened to watch "Night of the Living Dead" last the other night on AMC, and I had forgotten just how upsetting and disturbing this old George Romero film really was! In Black and White, yet really gets to you to watch the thing!
