Ever have their pumpkin beer? Seriously! Surprisingly, it's pretty good for something different... I think it's a seasonal thing that should be coming out right about now.

I have one of their T-shirts, with 'MOON ME' in big block letters on the back.

PUMPKIN BEER! Sorry but I'll pass. I hate flavored coffee, beer, nuts, pretzels, popcorn, cigars etc.

I'm a simple MFer.

I was surprised to learn that Blue Moon heffenweisen is brewed by Coors in Golde, CO. I didn't know Coors makes a pumpkin beer. Think I'd pass on that one.

I've had the Blue Moon pumpkin beer. It is like drinking a piece of pumpkin pie. The first one is great, the second one is vile. The Blue Moon white wheat beer (has a fancy name that I don't remember) is very good. It also makes top notch beer bread.

Blue moon beer should be topped with a slice of orange. Its all subject to interpretation but just like Corona's thing is to have lime in it, Blue Moon's thing is orange.

FYI - That's Golden Colorado dammit!! And yes it's at the base of the rockies, truly gorgeous country!!

Blue Moon "Belgian White" is what you're probably talking about, It's considered a "White" Beer, but has a subtle blueberry taste. Not bad considering it's Coors, I think it was a micro brew that got bought out...

Cal beat me to the white beer reference. There are several microbrews who make a seasonal pumpkin ale. Some are pretty good.

I'll have to try the orange slice. The first time I had Blue Moon was at a friends and he put lemon in it. It stuck with me, but the orange slice sounds intriguing. I am adventourous so I am going to try and find the pumpkin stuff this weekend. I live near one of the best beer stores I have ever seen. They carry, not kidding, hundreds of different brands of beer.

If any of you can find it you may also want to try a beer called Nicolet. They make several varieties ie: pilsner, bock, dark etc. at a little brewery about 15 minutes from here. For some reason Nicolet seems to go really well with a cigar. It has a very unique flavor and you won't be dissapointed at all.

....Well, if Coors bought them out, it shouldn't be too long before it turns to s**t like the rest of Coors beers!!

May I suggest a "Blanche De Brooklyn" by Brooklyn Brewery. It's only available on tap. This and a good cigar were meant to be enjoyed together!

I'm in the U.P. of Michigan about 100 Miles north of Green Bay Wi. The brewery is just across the border in Wisconsin. We already have had over a foot of snow since last week. Luckily the UPS man has a well trained team of sled dogs and gets my packages in on time every week.

Take off to the Great White North, eh!...........Leon

Coors has owned Blue Moon for over 10 years, and it hasn't changed. They're keepin' it real...

I guess you folks don't realize that Sam Adams is made in Budweiser plants.

I think congress should pass a Rheinheitsgebote for America like Germany. Anyone hear Denis Leary's skit on coffe flavored coffee?

Yes, Sam Adams is made at Budweisers plant, BUT, Sam Adams is leasing the equipment and has their people there overseeing the brewing process. None of Annie Buschs people have their grubby hands in the mix!(Thank God!!) This info was given to me by a reliable source....Jim Koch
