I gotta admit, the Pats do look horrible. I think it's time for us Pats fans to panic.

Words can not describe the gut-wrenching feeling that this team gives me on Sundays.
To paraphrase our beloved Red Sox slogan: Wait til next week...

The same feeling exists here in Chicago for any of our sports teams. We are still living off of the Bears 85 Super Bowl season, the Chicago Bulls six championships in the 80' and 90's and waiting for almost a century for our baseball teams to make an appearance in the World Series! No one has that sick feeling like a Chicago fan!

Chris, you wrote: "I love the Sox, I just keep waiting for them to win so I don't have to hear about the stupid curse anymore!!!" ...

I and many others hope your wait is a relatively short one ... of course, as you're aware, for a person to have even been alive the last time the Sox won the Series, they'd have to be as old as you and I combined.
To be old enough to be able to remember that Series, a person would now be old enough that their memory has been erased ...

Amazingly enough, Cubs fans have it worse ... the poor Cubbies haven't even BEEN to the series since '45 and they last WON the WS no less than 10 years (!!) before the Red Sox last did it ... I've never heard a reference to there being a curse of Frank Shulte, whose career 92 homers ranks highest among the '08 Cubbies ... in fact, his 92 constitute more than half of the career homers hit by the entire team combined including 7 from the pitching staff ...

To be a Cub fan is the truest measure of fan loyalty there's ever been, although the Red Sox ARE a pretty close second ...
